SECRET SPECIMENS
Especímenes Secretos (Secret Specimens) is a mixed-media series inspired by the surreal lyricism of Mexican rock band Fobia and the symbolic structure of the traditional Mexican Lotería board game. Drawing from memories and internal narratives, the boxes display psychic specimens extracted through imagery, poetry and music. Once surfaced, each piece is assigned a number, given a title, and arranged within illuminated display boxes.
These pieces are made of collage on metallic paper base, transfer paper wax, led lights on board box.
